Elastics with exposed rubber grab at the cuticle and leave a crease. This one is a wide band of satin gathered over a soft covered elastic, so it holds a ponytail or a bun firmly and slides out without pulling anything with it.
Deliberately oversized. It sits well on thick, curly and braided hair, and it doubles as a wrist piece when you are not wearing it up.
Care
Hand wash in cold water with a mild soap. Do not wring or twist. Press between a clean towel and hang to dry away from direct sun. Do not iron satin directly; use a cool iron on the reverse if needed.
Cut and sewn in small batches in Nairobi. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships.
