Ankara Head Wrap
A full two metres by sixty centimetres, which is enough to build a proper turban with height, or to tie something simple and low. The outer face is real wax print; the inner face is satin, so nothing coarse ever sits against your hairline.
Wax print on its own is stiff cotton and rough on the edges. Lining it solves that, and it also means the wrap holds a shape instead of sliding loose through the day.
Dimensions: 200cm × 60cm.
Care
Hand wash in cold water with a mild soap. Do not wring or twist. Press between a clean towel and hang to dry away from direct sun. Do not iron satin directly; use a cool iron on the reverse if needed.
Cut and sewn in small batches in Nairobi. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships.
Fit
One size, cut generously. Sized for thick, curly and braided hair rather than the minimum that will fit.

Long enough to build a proper turban with height. I have watched three tutorials and it works for all of them.

The jersey one is my weekday go-to. Grips itself so I do not need pins.

Wore it to a wedding and got asked where it was from four times.

Gorgeous print. Takes a bit of practice to tie but it holds all day once you get it.

The satin lining makes a real difference. Wax print on its own always scratched my hairline.
